Developing a strong safety culture as an integral part of the work culture and lifestyle in the people is a big challenge. Appropriate training is one of the several approaches to meet the challenge successfully. National Safety Council, whose mission is to create, develop and sustain awareness about safety, health and environment at the national level, has been conducting training courses on since its inception in 1966. What started off as a national initiative on March 4, 1966 has become synonymous with safety training today in not only Government and public sectors but also in private companies
