Safety Awards for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises

| Objectives
: |
| To give national recognition to Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for achieving meritorious performance & leadership,
and encourage commitment of the management and workers in the field of Occupational
Safety and Health. |

|
|
|
| Eligibility
for participation: |
| MSMEs (Manufacturing or producing goods) which
have filed Entrepreneur Memorandum as required under the Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006. |
|
|
|
|
|
Assessment
Period : Three calendar years previous to the Awards Year-2010
i.e. 2007, 2008 and 2009.

MSMEs which could score the qualifying score of 65% and above
but could not win any of above the Awards will be sent letter of Appreciation.
The list of all the MSMEs that have scored 65% and above will be published
in NSC Industrial Safety News and uploaded on the NSC website. |

| How
to Apply: |
|
|
|
Application
Forms along with Rules & Regulations for participation in the NSCI Safety
Awards-2010 can be downloaded from our website or obtained
from NSC Office. Duly filled-in Applications should reach the Director
General, NSC along with Entry Fee (DD drawn in favour of 'National Safety
Council' payable at Navi Mumbai / Mumbai) on or before the closing date
i.e. 30th June, 2010.

- Rs. 3,500/- |

| Closing date for receiving
duly filled-in Applications: 20th August, 2010. |

| Awards Committee, constituted
by the NSC Board of Governors will assess the Applications. |
