THE FILM ON “SAFE DRIVING”

 

 

Synopsis

 

The film on Safe Driving is professionally produced by the National Safety Council in collaboration with the Loss Prevention Association of India and sponsored by Eicher Motors Ltd., a significant player in the Indian Automobile industry. The film is in Hindi with a duration of 22 minutes.

 

The film highlights several aspects of safe driving of heavy goods vehicles. The film covers preoperational checks; 2– and 4 second rules of safe distance; driving in rain and on hilly roads; importance of road signs – mandatory, cautionary and informatory; emergency information panel for the vehicles transporting dangerous goods; correct methods of overtaking and reversing; hazards of combining drinking and driving; etc. The film also emphasizes the importance of taking rest pauses or breaks during long drives and maintaining correct posture of the driver while driving.

 

The lead protagonist of the film is a driver sharing his personal experience of a road accident. This has a strong emotional appeal on the viewer which stresses that one accident is enough to ruin the life of a driver. Acting as the anchor he shares several important safe driving tips with heavy vehicle drivers under different situations. This helps in maintaining the interest of the viewer. A strong AIDS Message is also conveyed in the film.

 

The film is quite useful for increasing awareness among all goods vehicle drivers regarding safe driving.

Terms and Conditions

 

1.      The rates are inclusive of all taxes and packing & forwarding charges.

 

2.  The order must be sent alongwith full advance payment through account payee Demand Draft/Cheque drawn in favour of National Safety Council, Navi Mumbai. In case of outstation cheques the necessary bank clearance charges should be added.

 

3.   After receiving the full advance payments VCDs will be despatched by Insured Regd. Post Parcel on “first-come-first-served” basis.
