Sub: NSCI Safety Awards-2020 for the Service Sector (Hotels, Hospitals and IT Offices)

 

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

The National Safety Council was set up by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India on 4th March, 1966 as an independent, non-commercial, not for profit and autonomous organisation. Its aim is, building a national movement on safety, health and environment to prevent and mitigate loss of life, human suffering and economic losses, and providing support services.

 

As one of its activities and initiatives, the Council has instituted NSCI Safety Awards Schemes and is giving away the yearly awards to Manufacturing Sector (from the year-1998),Construction Sector (from the year -2005), and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Sector (from the year -2009).

 

We are pleased to announce a new awards scheme for service sector industries - Hotels, Hospitals and IT offices. The objective of the award scheme is to recognize and reward the establishments for their exemplary Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) performance and commitment to reduce workplace injuries, implementations of the best OSH practices and encourage continual improvements.

We appeal to all the establishments to participate in this prestigious national level awards scheme. Winning these awards gives National level recognition, heightens the prestige of the organization, demonstrates the management commitment to safety as well as boosts the moral of the employees. The closing date for submitting applications is 31st July 2020.

 

 

Kindly download the Application Form well in advance, as comprehensive details of OSH Systems and procedures are required to be filled up in the Form, which may take considerable time.
