MPCB issues a Circular to Industries for observing safety precautions before undertaking operations of units after COVID-19 lockdown Print E-mail

 

 

The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) issued a circular (No. MPCB/AST/Circular/TB-2005110 dated  11/05/2020) to the industrial units located in Maharashtra for observing strict safety precautions to be taken before resuming operations of units after COVID-19 lockdown. MPCB has advised the industrial units to undertake a proper safety and hazard audit before resuming the operation.

The Govt. of Maharashtra - Industries, Energy and Labour Department has been notified the National Safety Council as a Safety Auditor for carrying out safety audits of the factories, under the Maharashtra Factories (Safety Audit) Rules 2014 vide their Notification No. FAC- 2012/C.R.278/Lab-4 dated 24th February 2014.
