Applications are invited for NSCI Safety Awards-2013 - MSME Sector
Objective:
To give national recognition to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for achieving meritorious performance & leadership, and encourage commitment of the management and workers in the field of Occupational Safety and Health.

The list of all the MSMEs that have scored 65% and above will be published in NSC Industrial Safety News and uploaded on the NSC website.
Awards Year: Calendar Year- 2013
Assessment Period: Three calendar years previous to the Awards Year- 2013 i.e. 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Eligibility:
- The following types of industrial undertakings engaged in the manufacture or production of goods are eligible to apply :
ØMicro enterprise – where the investment in plant and machinery does not exceed twenty five lakh rupees
ØSmall enterprise – where the investment in plant and machinery is more than twenty five lakh rupees but does not exceed five crore rupees
ØMedium enterprise – where the investment in plant and machinery is more than five crore rupees but does not exceed ten crore rupees and which has filed Memorandum with the District Industries Centre as required under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006

Duly filled-in Applications should reach the Director General, NSC along with Entry Fee (DD drawn in favour of ‘National Safety Council’ payable at Navi Mumbai / Mumbai) on or before the closing date i.e. 31st May, 2013
Closing date for receiving duly filled-in Applications: 31st May, 2013.
Entry Fees: NSC Members – Rs. 3500/-
Non-Members – Rs.4000/-
