ELIGIBILITY

1. Manufacturing Sector
The Scheme is open to both NSC
Members and Non-Members Industrial Organisations registered under the Factories Act 1948. For Member industries, there should not be any arrears of
membership subscription on the date of Application.
An
individual undertaking will be disqualified, if it has been convicted for any
contravention with regard to any health and safety provision under the Factories Act or the Rules framed there
under as well as the Environment (Protection) Act, the Water (Prevention & Control of pollution) Act
1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act 1981 and the Rules framed there-under during
the previous year of the Award Yea
2. Construction Sector
The
Scheme is applicable for Construction Companies, Proprietary or Partnership
Firms and
Companies Executing Construction Projects.
The
Scheme is open to any establishment of a company in the construction sector
registered under the Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment
and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 or obtained licence under the Contract Labour (Regulation and
Abolition) Act, 1970.
The Applicant necessarily should have during assessment period employed 100
or more building workers and the Project Activity should have continued for at least 240
days.
